All Kings is a lightly raced eight year old bay gelding who has come to Bob's yard from Harry Fry’s stable ahead of the 2017-18 season. Previously he had a back problem which has now been operated on and hopefully resolved.

Ballyegan ran six times over the 2016-17 season and claimed a third place at Hereford in November. He is a very firm favourite in the yard.

Cushuish is four year-old Yeats bay filly that was bought at the Doncaster Sales in the summer of 2017 Her dam was a seven time black type, including listed races, winner My Petra. Bob Buckler is particularly excited by this new horse and has ridden her on several occasions each time being hugely impressed by her capability.

Gibb Hill is a three year- old homebred gelding out of River Reine by Frozen Fox, an Irish Derby winner. The dam herself won as a two year old on the flat and also over hurdles and fences and is dam of Say My Name. Gibb Hill has got a lovely attitude to life which makes training much easier. He moves incredibly freely and covers the ground amazingly well and is expected to make his racecourse debut in the 2017-18 season..

Hoo Bally Diva is a young filly who ran in three National Hunt flat races in the 2015-16 season. During the 2016-17 season Hoo Bally Diva ran in four hurdle races and was placed twice, once at Exeter in November and then at Hereford later that month.

Regal Flow joined Bob Buckler’s stable ahead of the 2016-17 season having previously been with Caroline Keevil. During his first season with the yard Regal Flow ran six times winning once at Warwick in a three mile chase, and was placed at Haydock in April over the same distance.

Still only six Say My Name enjoyed a good season in 2015-16. He had seven runs and won at Exeter over hurdles in April. He was also placed three times- also over hurdles. In 2016-17 Say My Name ran five times and was placed at Chepstow in January. Its likely that he will start the season over hurdles before moving onto chasing later on.

Somerset Lias had a busy 2015-16 season. He ran 10 times and although he didnt quite manage to win, being squeezed out on a couple of occasions, he was placed on seven occasions, five seconds and two thirds. Somerset Lias notched up his first victory at Taunton in November 2016 and was placed at the same venue in February 2017.

This eight year old gelding has the look of a classy chaser. He won at Chepstow three years ago but then suffered a leg problem from which he has been given time to recover. Ugolin returned last season and ran five times, claiming two second places once at Cheltenham over three and a half miles in April and then at Ffos Las over three miles in early May. .

UNWIN VC

Unwin VC,is a three year old destined to become a long distance chaser. The horse is named after the owner’s grandfather who won the VC in Gallipoli in 1915. Bob Buckler said: “He has got a lovely temperament and done everything we have asked of him easily and very willingly. We will progress him slowly and he will probably run in a bumper in December but he was bought to become a three mile long chaser, which is the sort of horse I love,”.
